REPORTS TO: BayPro Resourcing Director

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Midweek Rehearsals:

  • Prep For Service
    • Listen to songs, read/listen to service set flow
    • Check patching
    • Fix known issues
    • Set snapshots
  • Train volunteers
    • On-boarding
    • How to set up the room
    • How to intake audio
    • Line check philosophy
    • Mix notes
  • Band Line check
    • Set audio levels
    • EQ, Compress etc
    • Set reverbs, delays etc
  • Mix rehearsal
  • Record rehearsal
  • Post Rehearsal Virtual Soundcheck
    • After rehearsal, with fresh ears, double check and work on mix.


Post Production Audio

Video:

  • Mix/Master All audio from Creative Video Shoots
    • News, Promos, ATM, foley design, etc
    • ***Be on site to help capture audio
  • Weekend Message Clips
    • Work with creative to push out social media message clips
    • ***Message recap
  • Worship Re-mix/master
    • Re-mix and master audio from special moments from weekend worship for social media posts

Audio:

  • Studio Engineer
    • New song demos
    • Record audio tutorials
    • Demo song targets
    • Album pre-production
    • Album recording
  • ***Producing
    • Work with worship event leaders to build special intros, mashups, and creative musical pieces
    • Record
    • Mix/Master

Relational/Admin: 8hrs

  • Relationally connect with volunteers
    • Lunch, coffee, text, call
  • Schedule Volunteers
    • A3, studio engineers, on-site audio intake
  • Misc meetings
    • Staff, creative planning, etc

  • DAW’s mixing/mastering
    • Logic, ProTools, Ableton
  • Waves Plugins
  • Adobe Suite
  • Timecode
  • Dante
  • Audio consoles
  • Music production
    • Reason, Kontact, Omnisphere, etc.


PERFORMANCE MEASURES:

Performance will be measured based on the following criteria:

  • Ensure that A3 audio is excellent, and distraction free
  • Raising, training and equipping of volunteers
  • Excellence and timely turnaround of audio projects
